SHADAN WOMEN’S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY has its deep roots in the field of education in the city of Hyderabad and around. I feel proud and privileged to be a member of this family. Our students have reached the greater heights as inspired by the motto “always aim high” and as said Albert Einstein, “Education is not about learning of facts but training young minds to think”.

The students come here with a great hope and vision and achieve their dreams. The aim of the college always has been to bring out the best in the students and make them better citizens. The college always tries to impart in the students the academic excellence, a sense of duty, discipline and above all moral and humanitarian values which are a need of the time. No parents want their children to become a negative character in the society and hence with the cooperation of the parents and guardians we can help our students to attain the excellence.

In the present age there is a lot of exposure for the students. The postmodern culture has brought immense changes in our lifestyles and thinking patterns and this has deeply affected the younger generation. With the change of time there should be a change in rearing our children. When we are able to understand the needs of society and children, especially emotional needs and act upon it, we can make them emotionally strong and firm, With love and affection, understanding. Parents and teachers can together build up the students to meet the day to day challenges.

Adding to it, along with a great responsibility of parents and teachers I also would like to make the students aware of their responsibilities towards their parents, College and society. In the present scenario as students grow up rapidly of their age, they should act responsible in their behavior and actions. Hence, it is also our responsibility to bring awareness among our students.
