About Shadan Educational Society
The Shadan Educational Society was established during 1988. SES a society whose constituents where visionaries and intellectuals from various walks of life working under the guardianship of the legendary educationist, Dr. Mohd VIzarath Rasool Khan on his wife's name. He is known more as an educationist though he dabbled in politics. He had set up a string of 56 minority institutions, including four medical colleges, 18 engineering colleges and 5 pharmacy, MBA, MCA, and B.Ed. Colleges, and many more junior and degree colleges. The first B.Ed college in the Shadan group was established in April 1988, first minority engineering college in 1995 and first women’s minority engineering college in 2002. He established first Muslim medical college and hospital for Girls after independence. Currently, SES is headed by Mr. Mohammed Shah Alam Rasool Khan as a Chairman.

At Shadan Women's College of Engineering and Technology (SWCET), we keep the light of the nation ablaze. The institution, ever since its foundation in 2002 is in the constant pursuit of keeping high and self imposed standards of excellence. QUALITY, MODERNITY AND HIGH DEGREE OF SCIENTIFIC TEMPERAMENT pervade every facet of the institution, be it technical education, laboratories or infrastructure facilities. The campus is the abode of discipline, harmony and intellectual pursuit and abuzz with intense academic activity.
Shadan Women’s College of Engineering and Technology has the distinction of being the first Minority Engineering College in the state established in the year 2002 exclusively for women with the approval of A.I.C.T.E and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, permitted by Government of Telangana. It is situated at the heart of the city at Khairatabad and is well connected by RTC buses, MMTS and Metro trains to most of the parts of city.
The faculty consists of well qualified staff with M.Tech. and Ph.D. for all the Departments. We, at Shadan College of Engineering & Technology not only impart quality education but also moral values.
