Shadan Womens College  of Engineering & Technology has the distiction of being the first  Engineering college in the state established in the year 2002 exclusively for women with the approval of Government of Andhra Pradesh, AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.  The college stands as a beacon of knowledge for the future women leaders of the nation. It is managed by Shadan Educational Society under the chairmanship of renowed educationist Dr. Mohd. Vizarath Rasool Khan.

  It is situated at the heart of the city at Khairatabad and is well connected by RTC busses and local trains to most of the parts of city. The College offers Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. Computer Science Engg. (60), Computer Science & Information Technology (120), Electronic Communication Engg. (120) and Electronics & Electrical Engineering (60).Total intake for B.Tech. is 360. Total No. of M.Tech seats are 72. M.B.A. (60) & M.C.A. (60)

  The college has a total floor area of 23,522 Sq.mts. The faculty consists of well qualified staff which includes M.Techs and Ph.Ds.

The College runs four engineering courses of 4 years duration. Computer Science Engineering (60 seats), Computer Science & Information Technology (120 seats), Electronics & Communication Engineering (120 seats) and Electronics & Electrical Engineering (60 seats).Total intake for B.Tech. is 360. The number of seats available in M.Tech are 72, in MCA 60 and in MBA the intake is 60.

The College is provided with all the required laboratories, that include four well equipped computer labs.
